Here’s what to expect after a Dark Lip Neutralisation treatment:
1.Immediate Post-Treament: After Neutralisation, the lips may appear swollen, slightly bruised, and more intensely coloured than the desired outcome. This is normal and expected due to the initial inflammation and pigment saturation. The color will appear more vibrant during the first few days.
2. Initial Healing (𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝟏-𝟑): In the first few days following the procedure, the lips may feel tender, swollen, and slightly uncomfortable. It's essential to follow aftercare instructions to keep the lips moisturised and protected. Avoiding hot, spicy, or acidic foods and drinks during this time can help minimize discomfort and promote proper healing.
3. Peeling and Fading (𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝟒-𝟕): Around days 4-7 post-procedure, the lips may start to peel as the top layer of skin naturally sheds. This is a normal part of the healing process and may cause the lip colour to appear lighter or patchy. It's crucial not to pick or peel the lips during this stage to prevent scarring or pigment loss.
4. Settling of Colour (𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝟐-𝟒): As the lips continue to heal, the colour will gradually settle into the desired shade, becoming softer and more natural-looking. You may experience slight fluctuations in colour intensity during this time, which is normal. It's essential to be patient and allow the full healing process to unfold before assessing the final results.
5. Complimentary Second Session at Brow Ability (𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝟒-𝟔): This complimentary session is what we call a perfection visit where we make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal and lasting results.
